With so much chaos in the world and the current corrupt administration in the USA, I am uncomfortably unsure about the future.
I have always been unsure about the future, but never so uncomfortably unsure.
Maybe that’s why I noticed this unsure pile at the hospital where I work.

I was unsure who Adam Savage is, but now I know. His advice to spend time on what I think about most helped me feel less unsure about myself.

I’m a bit of a control freak, but pretty much only in regard to my own actions, so it follows that I don’t like the feeling of uncertainty about what’s going on around me. However, I also think that it is uncertainty that gives a bit of spice to life. It requires me to make a decision in the face of that uncertainty, not having a solid handle about where it will take me. I call it “jumping off a cliff holding my nose.” I’ve done it more than a few times, not often to good results but always to interesting ones.
Another interesting comment, of course.
