Day 4895: Memorable

My first memorable concert was Simon & Garfunkel at Boston’s Symphony Hall when I was in my early teens.

My most recent memorable concert was Jacob Collier and the Boston Pops last night, where I could see my seats for that first concert.

Jacob Collier is so memorable because he somehow makes the audience part of his impeccable, soulful, magical performances.

Here are some memorable comments about that memorable Jacob Collier video:

Thanks to all who make my days memorable, including YOU!

I regret none of the over 200 Grateful Dead shows I have seen. I do regret never having a chance to see Queen or Pink Floyd. Dead shows were my version of revival meetings. “We all got the munchies and we all got fed.”

  3. My most memorable concert was The Academy of St. Martin In The Fields when they had a section they called “The Attentive Ear”. The conductor explained they would play a deliberately obscure piece because people tended to tune out familiar tunes. It was a strange, avant-garde composition but mostly I enjoyed the chance to think about new music.

  4. glad you had a fun time at the concert! 🙏🎈🙏
