I love Stephen Colbert. One of my healthy habits has been watching his smart, honest, empathic, fearless, and trenchant take on our world.
Last night, I asked people this question about Stephen Colbert.

.
Speaking of the old familiar places, here are my other images for today.

Here’s the first thing I find when I look for “Stephen Colbert” on YouTube:
.
I’m now going to watch Stephen Colbert’s last show for CBS.
Thanks to Stephen Colbert and all who help me get through tough times, including YOU!

i’ll miss him and his show but know he will be somewhere soon where we can see him again
I’m sure that’s true, beth.
I’m looking forward to whatever he’s going to do with the Tolkien material. I haven’t heard that he has permission from the estate to do the first chapters that Jackson skipped over (as I heard he wanted to do) but that he plans to send the children of our favorite hobbits on a little mission of their own, retracing their parents’ steps through the Old Forest and the Barrow Downs.
I’m looking forward to new things from Stephen Colbert, Barbara.
Two things I think of: Steve Carrell and Stephen Colbert were on The Daily Show at the same time after working in improv together. Carrell told Colbert he didn’t like making fun of people and Colbert said, find people you want to talk to and you be the joke. That was Colbert’s method but he was happy to share it. Also a writer who worked with Colbert said the staff would come up with a joke and Colbert would add something that made it ten times funnier but never took credit. For him it was always a team effort. That’s why I think he’ll be back: he’s a funny guy and he’s a good leader.
It takes one to know one, my friend.
