Nobody knows what they don’t know… Yes but one should have a good Idea of what they do not know.
I am a firm believer in understanding that even with what I know, I do not and cannot know everything.

Stan: I can’t tell you how many boyfriends have said to me over the years, “You think you know everything.” My answer to that has become, “No, I don’t know everything, but everything does sound a little bit familiar.”

I write a lot of notes but I often forget where they are or what they mean. I keep a notepad by my bed for notes and the other morning wrote down this that I dreamed: “Don’t put down amateurs. They can ask questions and innovate in ways that would never occur to experts. And the first scientists were amateurs. The first everything in every field was an amateur, and so is everyone. We all start at the bottom.”
