The first thing I remember hearing about pride was “Pride goeth before a fall.”

When I look up quotes about pride now, many of them imply that pride is bad.

    I’m very proud of my two children and of the three novels I’ve written and of the over 1,000 posts I’ve made in the last 12 years on my webpage, barbarasbookhouse.com.
