We all need World Day(s) for Social Justice. And while I might yearn for a No Politics Day, I need to pay attention to politics because I’m a therapist who needs to listen to all my patients’ needs and concerns.

I think we do need a weekly presser, and whoever suggested someone like Obama or Mayor Pete was on the money. They get press attention. And what we need mostly, at these, are stories about the exact cuts made and how exactly they are impacting people. Not much use for generalizations like, “This may have deleterious results of some sort or other.” We need to broadcast some specific outcomes.
We need answers like yours, Barbara.
As always, the photo of the meal that Michael made you is enticing. I don’t know what the breadcrumbed patty is, but I’m wondering if it’s a veggie patty? As it happens, last night I made vegetarian patties out of kidney beans and butter beans and they turned out to be delicious. We had them in buns, burger style.
That sounds delicious, Maureen, and I always need your comments.
I thought my felllow Americans would figure it out before Election Day, Ann. I hope they realize what we were talking about now.
