Surprise! It’s November.
I hope I am not surprised by the results of the election next week. There have been too many unpleasant surprises (political and otherwise) in my long life.
I wonder if there are any surprises in my blog post today.
There are several surprises on today’s list and I am surprised that the Daily Bitch knew that it was International Scented Candle Day.

Surprise! I found a tabling partner and I will meet her at 3:00 this afternoon at a local mall. With any luck, we will also be there tomorrow, before the weather turns a bit nasty for the two days leading into the election. And if anyone can access it, I recommend Jennifer Rubin’s column today in the Washington Post (I maintain my subscription for her and, I confess, for a couple of puzzles I like). She makes some very good arguments for hope. I, of course, refuse to fall for it because it seems it’s only when I give up all hope that hope comes through. Experiences may differ. 🙂
I think there will be some very pleasant surprises today, Barbara.
There are surprises I like and surprises I don’t like. I’ve got my fingers crossed that Election Day will bring a happy surprise.
