Day 4105: Crazy about cats

I don’t know why I’ve always been so crazy about cats, but I do know that having a cat when was a kid with a crazy heart condition kept me from going crazy.

If you’re not crazy about cats, there are still a few images you might like in today’s blog. If you are crazy about cats, get ready to purr!

.

Because I’m so crazy about cats, I keep thinking I should write a song about cats. (Is “I Wish I Were More Like My Cat” a great title?) In the meantime, here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “crazy about cats.”

My “crazy about cats” search also found this crazy cat:

Thanks to all the cool cats that helped me create this crazy-about-cats post, including YOU.

  1. those videos were fantastic, and I’m not much of a cat person, I like dogs better! 😀

  2. I didn’t become a cat person till I retired in 2009. By then, I’d downsized to an apartment in a retirement village. A barky small dog was out of reason for reasons involving neighbors – I had just survived one such neighbor with three barky schnauzers plus another loud barky dog she dog sat during the day for her daughter – so thought a cat might be a better option. Four cats later, I continue to know I made the correct decision in 2009. Each cat brought me joy and hours of amusing behavior. with lots of kitty love! Three passed in their time, bringing the loss that never ends, yet the fourth cat continues to star in my life and in my blog!

  3. I had five cats once. I signed my Christmas cards “Barbara and the Pussycats.” A friend told me that cats scratched little cat signs on people’s doorposts that read, “A sucker lives here.” Today I have only ghost cats. Anybody else have ghost cats? They jump up on your bed and turn around, making a nest for themselves. You feel the paws land, soft little plumps, and you could swear a cat just curled up behind your knees. When that happens, I try to lie still so I don’t disturb them.

  4. Even if I weren’t crazy about cats Joan and Harley would win me over. Although what really makes me crazy about cats is they always seem to like me. My sister-in-law’s cat is very shy which is why I sit quietly when I’m around her and just let her come to me, which she always does.

  5. I am a cat lover and have always had one or two over the years, I love their personalities, sass, humor, and affection, brain, and lack of caring if others judge them. sounds like someone I’d love to date
