Back in March 2020, at the beginning of lockdown, a yarn store mailed out zinnia seeds with a note that said, “Somewhere we read that zinnias represent absent friends. So we’re sending these out until we can see each other again.”
It took longer than any of us expected but at least we had the zinnias.
