I bet I won’t be watching football again until college starts up at the end of August, Ann. The spring leagues that crop up don’t catch my interest.

I like to think I’m doing everyone a favor by NOT betting on their teams, but then I like to think lots of things.

I once filled out a raffle card at a pet store for a cat tree, not expecting to win and not even realizing what it was. A week later we had to take a large vehicle to pick it up. Our cat Hugo enjoyed it very much and then I passed it on to a friend with several cats who also enjoyed it. I think sharing winnings means everyone wins.
