Day 3568: Local news

In my therapy groups, I often suggest that people share local news, defining “local news” this way:

If there were a cable news network dedicated to reporting about your life, what would the headlines be?

Do you see local news in today’s blog post?

.

I hope the local news doesn’t get much worse.

When I search YouTube for “local news” it’s all too scary and depressing, so here is “Weird Al“ Yankovic’s “Headline News.”

What’s the local news where you are?

Thanks to all who help me report my local news every day, including YOU.

  1. I’m to the point where I watch and read little news…keeps my BP in the ‘safe’ range. 😉 Your pictures always make me smile, Ann, and also working at the local pet rescue shelter, which I am doing this morning. 🥰

  4. At least there is some good news locally. I got out and had a walk around Radnor Lake where two turkeys followed me for several minutes. My neighbor said “So there were three turkeys there!”

  5. my local news is that I am loving seeing the new season enter in, in so many ways, on my daily walks

  6. Liverpool man give his dog a bath, ends up as smelly as the dog! There’s my news from Saturday night, Ann.
