Day 3532: Better than expected

Considering that today is my last work day before my two-week vacation, I’m definitely feeling better than expected. Usually I’m more nervous about getting everything done before I take time off.

Last night on Twitter, I asked a question about things working out better than expected.

Joan’s harness and leash are working out better than expected, because the harness is so easy to put on and and it’s allowing her to safely explore the great outdoors. I can’t read her mind, but I’m assuming Joan’s life is now better than expected.

Are my other images for today better than expected?

.

I doubt I’ll be able to be a lazy mom today, but I hope work will turn out better than expected.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “better than expected.”

Better-than-expected thanks to all who help me feel better every day, including YOU!

  1. A very happy cat walking on a leash is more than all these years in life ever led me to expect until I’ve now seen Joan interacting with the world, Ann. Enjoy your last day before two weeks of vacation!

  2. Joan on her leash makes me so very happy.
And, recently, I wrote a baseball story. When I first had the idea I didn’t think anything would come of it but, thirteen pages later, it really did come out better than I expected. Funny enough it’s about a team with nothing but losses and how they finally turn things around with some unexpected help. I hope to be able to share it with everyone soon.

I’m delighted that Joan’s harness and leash are turning out better than expected, and I love the photos that prove it. I bet that you are having a blast exploring with her.

Congratulations on your weight loss success!

  4. Your pictures of Joan and just beautiful. She really is a pretty kitty! And congratulations on a two-week vacation, Ann. Sounds wonderful. 🙂

  5. I’m so happy for Joan and her umbilical cord connection to the outside world. she’s like an astronaut on a spacewalk, floating free in a new space. have a wonderful trip! I liked your explanation of why people snap at others as a way of dealing with their stress as I always have a hard time processing this, because it isn’t my way and I tend to take it as a personal surprise attack. it helps me to understand the reasons.

    • The Noom app is better than expected — that was actually a screen I captured from them that had that explanation. I always expect wonderful comments from you, beth, and I am never disappointed!
