Day 3465: Resignation

The word “resignation” has two different meanings.

.

When I looked up “resignation” just now, the definition page coincidentally included a news story about resignations.

I look at the news with resignation lately and do you see resignation in my other images for today?

.

If I search YouTube for “resignation” I’m resigned to finding mostly videos about Boris Johnson’s resignation, so here are two tunes I was listening to yesterday.

What are your thoughts and feelings about this “resignation” post?

I’m so grateful to blog every day for you, so there are no plans for resignation here!

  1. The Prime Minister’s resignation took me by surprise today, but not too much surprise. I sometimes feel like everything, everywhere is happening all at once. 🙂

  2. Debbie T

I wonder what the story is with those small airplane replicas.

    • Those airplanes were on a float in the local July 4th parade here and then landed as you see in the photos.

  3. Somehow I got signed out of WordPress. I’ve now signed back in but I haven’t resigned,

  4. When life gets hard it is easy for me to contemplate “resignation,” as in just give up! Stop trying so hard. But that doesn’t last long. I guess that’s where resilience kicks in and I tap into hope. 🙂

  5. As you know, both your definitions apply, but no. 2 is what forced it

  6. Thank you for the photos of Joan and Harley in their rays of sunshine, Ann, to help settle the feeling of that choppy water!

  7. I will not resign from my position on my condo board until my term in office is completed and I will not be a part of any scandals that would cause me to have to resign.
