Last night, assuming that I’m not alone in my confusion, I asked this question on Twitter (with the help of the Daily Bitch calendar):

There seems to be a lot of confusion on Twitter about its future, because of Elon Musk.
This morning, I searched for quotes about confusion and found these:

I hope all those quotes about confusion aren’t too confusing.
I captured these images yesterday in the midst of my confusion about (1) the best way to move forward with our needed home repairs and (2) the state of the world.

In order to celebrate Great Poetry Reading Day, I searched for a great poem about confusion and found Garbageman: The Man With The Orderly Mind by Gwendolyn Brooks.

Here’s Gwendolyn Brooks reading her poetry, including Garbageman: The Man With The Orderly Mind:

For regular readers of this blog, there’s no confusion how I will end this post: with gratitude.

I will think back to one of my favorite songs from the 70s, Ann, from the awesome Temptations. As they sang in Ball of Confusion: “and the band plays on.”
I almost put that song in this post, Mark!
Land of Confusion is one of my favourite songs…
Thanks for sharing that in this land of confusion!
A great poem! <3 the world is definitely confusing!
Thanks for this great comment

Nice!
You feel that the new ownership of Twitter will affect your use of it?
Time will tell, Maureen!
I am growing old waiting for Time to tell. Time would benefit from a social media account.
I think the Walter Mondale quote is probably just about perfect! If I am confident I understand “things” fully, it is likely that I am confused. We put a lot of stock into certainty, and I think that leaves us open to disappointment…certainly open to confusion. 🙂
Thank you, Debra, for another just about perfect comment!
I’m so confused so much of the time I don’t know what it’s like to not be confused.
You’re not alone, my friend.
Right now I am confused about what kind of lamp fixture would work in a workshop and laundry room and garage with unfinished ceilings, to replace old fluorescent tube fixtures?
I get very confused about such things!
Yes, lots of confusion around the world and especially on Twitter. Recent events are a great reminder that nothing lasts forever. Certainly tech services don’t. So many have made the move over the years from one place to another. From Prodigy to the Source, CompuServe, then AOL, and then?? I left Facebook a few years ago.
I’m happy to see you “here” and continuing to offer interesting ideas.
Vincent
I’m happy to see you here too, Vincent!
all i know is that there is so much i don’t know, and that can be confusing.
I know that too, beth, and I’m so glad we know each other.
