If this blog post is going to be better than expected, I’d better start adding some interesting elements, like my last question yesterday on Twitter:

That question turned out better than expected: it already has over 200 answers. And the answers were better than expected: many people answered with “my life.”
Are any of my other images for today better than expected?

Those images came together better than I expected. Sometimes I think one secret of life is having low expectations or, better yet, letting go of expectations.
When I search YouTube for “better than expected,” I find this …
… which unexpectedly made me want to see “Free Guy,” which I expect I’ll watch once it’s free for me.
What’s something that turned out better than you expected? I expect I’ll see some comments, below.
If you’re expecting gratitude from me, here it comes!

Has not Joan turned out to be a way more photogenic cat than we ever could have expected, Ann?
She gives me smiles here so many mornings, bringing to my mind the spirit of your great, always remembered and wonderfully photogenic feline Oscar.
I also smile today seeing your fine front page of a real newsprint newspaper. Thank you for that old feeling, too.
Thank you for all the better feelings, my friend.
I’m intrigued by what Joan is captivated by, both inside and outside. Her view is obviously better than expected!
This captivating comment is just what I would expect from you, Peter!
So much has turned out better than it might have! I really like the picture of the stone marker capped by the Santa/reindeer antler hat. And Joan in the sink is pretty priceless.
My day is always better when you show up here, Lisa!
Thanks to you, I will probably spend part of my holiday watching Free Guy with some of my adult kids although it’s not a movie I would have even considered. Hopefully we can get a free trial of Disney in order to see it.
Your comments are always expectedly great, Maureen.
I once slept in a bathtub. I was in a friend’s hotel room and it was very, very late, and I didn’t feel like going back to my room, and I wasn’t going to sleep in the bed with her (especially with three other people already there) so I found a blanket in the closet and an extra pillow and slept in the bathtub. It was surprisingly comfortable and I’d say bathtubs are an unexpectedly good place to sleep.
Joan also has the right idea.
You’re one of the better people in the world, Chris.
Joan’s turning more photogenic worked out better than expected, it gave you lots of
photo opportunities
It’s true that Joan is turning out even better than expected. Thanks, Maria!
I’ve always thought Bob Dylan a better poet than singer – but I once heard a jazz album which was better than expected
I expect that we agree about Bob Dylan, Derrick.
the first time I invited my divorced parents to the same event at the same time – I took the leap and refused to do double celebrations any longer and it went waaaaaaay better than expected. )
I’m way happy for you, beth.
