Not asking for a friend.
Not strange, my friend.
There is no question your landscape images with clouds are really nice in this post. They’re called low-altitude “stratocumulus” clouds which are patchy gray or white clouds that often have a dark honeycomb-like appearance.
I see you also caught a ‘crepusculum’, also called ‘crepuscular rays’ or ‘sunbeam illusion”; those well-defined beams of light and dark around the time of sunrise and sunset. Crepuscular rays occur because of the low angle of the sun. The rays are visible because of dust particles in the air that reflect light from the rising or setting sun.
The answer is that I loved it when I was fortunate to photograph ‘crepuscular rays’.
The answer is that I feel fortunate to read your comments!
