Every day, no matter what this blog is about, I categorize it as “Personal growth” in the settings (which appear at the end of each post).
Do you see personal growth in today’s images?

I don’t know if the Daily Bitch would agree with this, but I believe that personal growth is mutual — if we witness somebody else’s personal growth, we personally grow too.
Yesterday, in therapy with someone who struggles with confrontation (and dealing effectively with confrontation is part of everyone’s personal growth), I mentioned how David Letterman used to make difficult phone calls for studio audience members.
Do you see personal growth in this 1995 David Letterman segment I was able to find on YouTube?
Here’s something that Pat Metheny (who was sitting in with Dave’s band that night and who has helped me with my personal growth for decades) was playing with his group in 1995:
If you make a comment, that might help everybody’s personal growth.
Gratitude is part of personal growth, so thanks to everyone who accompanies me on this blogging journey, including YOU.

It surely is growing season, Ann.
We are all growing together, my friend.
I think I may have reached the stage of personal shrink!
I absolutely love this response, Peter. I had been thinking something similar as I read through Ann’s thoughts. You made me smile!
Personally, I love both these comments.
I enjoyed that comment about Harrison Ford. Rang true although I had never thought of it.
You seem to have a supply of amazing and wise tea bags.
Everything can help with personal growth, including your amazing and wise comments.
Life’s experiences attribute to personal growth. So the older one is the wiser one is. We can aspire to grow like others. I think personal growth is subjective in this case. Right now I would like to be like that bird flying freely in the sky- but obviously it’s not possible. There’s always room for creative growth as we reflect on nature’s beauty in your lovely pictures.
Thanks for reflecting so beautifully on personal growth!
I like Mary’s hat too and her friend Margaret seemed nice and, contrary to Mary’s opinion, I think Poughkeepsie is a very nice place. It’s also a rather sobering thought that Kevin is about twenty-six years older now. Such is life, though.

I like this comment, you seem nice, and I hear Nashville is a very nice place.
I think that personal growth never stops, until it does.
I think you help a lot of people with their personal growth, my friend.
I find personal growth fascinating in that it often happens even when you don’t realize it.
Thank you for this fascinating comment!
Loved the Tea bag :’) Love to see someone else on their growth journey 🙂
Thanks for the lovely comment!
I love this so much. It put a huge smile on my face!
Now you’ve put a huge smile on my face!
