As I return to work, remotely, after my birthweek vacation, I’d like to start out the day with a gratitude list.
Here and now, I am grateful for
- my son Aaron,
- my husband Michael,
- our cat Harley,
- my friends,
- family members,
- our good health,
- my work as a group therapist,
- my very unusual heart,
- my doctors and my dentist,
- my home near the sea,
- the delicious nutritious meals Michael cooks,
- chocolate,
- popcorn,
- unsalted sunflower seeds in the shell,
- humor,
- music,
- nature,
- this blog,
- my other creative outlets,
- The Daily Bitch Calendar,
- Twitter,
- “Jazz,”
- “RuPaul’s Drag Race”,
- “Match Game” reruns,
- “Call My Agent” (a/k/a “Dix pour cent” in French), and
- my iPhone 8, which allows me to stay connected with those I love AND capture images like these:

If you could see yourself through my eyes, you’d see how wonderful you are.
Here’s the opening music for “Call My Agent!/Dix pour cent.”
What’s on your gratitude list? Until tomorrow …

I am grateful to know you and to have you as my patient
The gratitude is mutual!

I’m grateful for what you share, my friend.
I see the chocolates are involved in a chess game. p.s someone told me to watch ‘call my agent’ and I look forward to it – the game -meh

I’m grateful that Harley is here as a Buddha.
I’m grateful that you are here exactly as you are.
I’m grateful for the full sphere here, Ann.
I’m grateful that you are in my world, Mark.
That’s a marvelous gratitude list, Ann. I have a long list, too, but it’s mostly in my head! I think writing it down is a good idea…gonna do it! 🙂
Writing a gratitude list definitely helps, Debra, and I am grateful for you.
When you can’t do what you want, eat chocolate!
I’m grateful for my awesome family and friend support. My furry buddy. My healthy appetite. Music, song and my own great reviews! Sunshine and great sleep and mysterious dreams. The hope that we have a future and it includes freedom. Thank you Ann, for giving us a voice.
I am very grateful for you.
