Yesterday, while I was at a group psychotherapy conference, I saw a sign.

I try to make a difference with this blog. Starting next month, I’ll try to make a difference by becoming President of my local group psychotherapy organization.
Do any of these other photos make a difference for you?

If you’re a writer and an activist, you definitely need stress management tips. I shall do my best to ask others for help, eat healthy, exercise, get enough sleep, get organized, practice relaxation techniques, and take breaks often, because those all make a difference.
Anthony Bourdain made a difference to many people.
As one of the messages in that video says, “Small acts of kindness can make all the difference. If you are struggling, call 1-800-273-8255.”
Your comments make a difference for me.
Thank you for letting me make a difference here, every day.
So many struggle yet we can’t see inside them. Good that you posted the phone number. It should be everywhere. Easy to find.
I hoped for my entire teaching life that my being kind and caring made a difference. One time my son said “mom, you might be the best thing in their lives.”
You and your son have made a difference to me today, Ruth. <3
Ann, Thank you for making a difference every day and alleviating pain in the world. 💕🙏💕
Thank you for the same, Val.<3 <3 <3
What Val said, echoes what I came here to say. Thank you. <3
I echo the same for you, Colleen. Many thanks. <3 <3
We can all make a difference. It’s the little things that touch people: shoveling snow, offering a plate of cookies, buying a cup of coffee, smiling to a stranger, giving someone a compliment, saying thank you.
You touched me with your comment, Carol. Thank you for making a difference, every day. <3
From the day I started reading your blog I appreciated the difference you were making, but at first I didn’t like Anthony Bourdain. Then I heard a Fresh Air interview with him and I don’t remember his exact words but he made a point that we should try to understand peoples’ circumstances rather than judging. That made a big difference in how much I came to admire Bourdain, and I try to keep that lesson in
mind.
From the day I started reading your admirable blog, Chris, I appreciated the big difference you were making. Thanks for making a difference with every comment, too. <3
I appreciated Anthony’s way, Ann. RIP.
I appreciate your caring way, Mark. <3
I hope I make not just a difference but a good difference to the lives of people I connect with
I’m sure you make a good difference to all, Joanne. <3
I’m very sure you make a difference, Ann, and I hope the Presidency of the psychotherapy organization will offer you really timely opportunities to continue to share your very special “brand” of encouragement! I have felt a heaviness of heart since hearing about Anthony Bourdain’s death, and I am sure you are seeing more and more people exhibit great stress in times that just don’t seem to offer much in optimism. I do believe you make a difference, and thank you for the reminder that we all have the capacity, and maybe even the responsibility, to do the same wherever we find ourselves.
I’m very sure you make a difference, Debra, to me and to many others. <3
Neither of us would have entered our chosen professions had we not thought that we could make a difference
Derrick, you have made a difference for lots of people, including me.
🙂
