In order to weather this weather, I’m not reporting to work today. Instead, I’ll weather whatever weather there is on Friday and work that day instead.
My internal weather report, here and now:
I’m weathering whatever weather there is, whether or not I feel strong, ready, or brave.
What’s the weather report where you are?
Here’s my pictorial weather report for the day:

How’s your internal weather, after that pictorial report?
Here‘s one of my favorite tunes from Weather Report, live:
Whether it’s rain, shine, or snow, my thanks to all who helped me create today’s weather report and to you — of course! — for weathering it.
Toll free elder hotline? Have the elders all moved somewhere warm but far away?
I wouldn’t blame them if they have.
Actually, that’s impossible. I’m still here.
Heh heh heh. Weathering it out.
Wise move to stay home. Here, it’s sunny, but cooooold. Minus 25 C.
I hope you’re staying home, too, Maggie, where it’s warm! Brrrrrrrrrrr.
Yup. Got the fire on and cuddling with the kitties. 🙂
We are currently being pounded by sleet, but my family is home, and I have two fur balls at my side. Life is good.
Life IS good, especially when you have two fur balls!
hope you weather the storm well- I am looking forward to it winding down as it is coming down fast and furious here!!
Thanks for helping me weather the storm well, Lisa!
Weathering it all, Ann. Stay safe, warm and dry. ⛄️ ❄️ 🌬
Thanks for helping me weather it all, in all kinds of weather. <3
They’re saying 16″ – 24″ up here in NH. i think I like Wayne Shorter and crew a lot more than the weather report I get from the local news….
(I’m a keyboardest, So I should have said Joseph Z?, but I have no clue how to spell his name 😉 )
I have a clue: it’s Joe Zawinul. I like your comments a lot more than the weather reports, too.
Wayne Shorter is easier to spell 😉
And it’s shorter.
Actually it’s not shorter. Don’t mind me. I’m distracted by the snow and the wind.
get it… and I’m in an all day meeting, so I shouldn’t be responding…
We keyboard players like to improvise!
Yes we do, even in life and meetings 😉
Hi Ann, I think it is supposed to be in the mid 70s today and sunny. The daffodils are up, the Magnolia in the front garden is blooming and I see yellow flowers on my Rosa Banks in the backyard. May be this will be the last of the storms for you guys and Spring will come. Stay warm, watch the snow and appreciate that you don’t (or really can’t) have to go anywhere. I miss Snow Days, wish we could have one out here.
I love SD days here at my blog! <3
Yesterday I met someone in the elevator who told me he was from New York but he was glad to be in Tennessee where it’s only slightly warmer and there’s no snow. His grandmother was stuck at home and cooking an apple pie. I thought, sure, the weather’s better here, but homemade apple pie sounds good too.
The lesson here is there’s always some good no matter where you are.
There’s always a lot of good wherever you are, Chris.
My 10 year old loved your pictures, snow day, no school, stuck in the house, etc etc 🙂 Yay New England! 🙂
Love the love and New England! <3
Thank s Ann – I’m in Birdland. The weather report said up to 2 feet of snow, but we got freezing rain after 5 inches. The birds are going crazy at the feeders!

It really is good!! Thanks Ann 😊
Hi Ann, here in Naples, FL it is cool and windy with a partial cloud cover. My internal weather is calm and sunny, with the exception of a missing little notebook I hid and cannot find. I’ve concluded it went into my waste basket and was discarded with the recycling Dunday night. There’s a rip current warning in effect in Naples. Here’s important info for any of. Your readers who might be swimming in the Gulf of Mexico near the southern tip of Florida today!

Coastal Hazard Statement
9:55 AM EDT, 3/14,expires 8:00 AM EDT, 3/15
… High rip current risk remains in effect through Wednesday morning…
* timing… through Wednesday morning.
* Impacts… strong and dangerous rip currents are forecast along the Gulf Coast beaches of South Florida, which will be hazardous for those in the surf zone.
Precautionary/preparedness actions…
There is a high risk of rip currents.
Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away from shore… which occur most often at low spots or breaks in The Sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as groins… jetties and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards… beach patrol flags and signs.
If you become caught in a rip current… Yell for help. Remain calm… do not exhaust yourself and stay afloat while waiting for help. If you have to swim out of a rip current… swim parallel to shore and back toward the beach when possible. Do not attempt to swim directly against a rip current as you will tire quickly.
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don’t fight the current. Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired, float or tread water until out of the rip current.

Glad that your internal weather is caring, calm and sunny, Sunny!
It’s snowing here too but it’s very light but consistent. In Hamilton just 40 minutes west of us they got a lot of snow. My granddaughter is loving it. My husband and I always think it’s a good idea to stay on if you can on a snowy day. Cuts back on traffic and possible accidents. Enjoy your day at home.
Thanks for helping me enjoy my day at home, Carol!

That’s a beautiful weather report!
😊
It’s 27 Celsius here in sunny Mexico. I’m a snowbird hiding from winter. Stay safe and warm and I hope a hot cup of tea warms you up. Love your video of your furry friends.
I will do my best to stay safe and warm, to drink hot tea, and to find more fun videos on YouTube.
Inside weather is always sunny! 🙂
Thank you for this sunny and perceptive thought, Cecilia!
We’re actually having a cool, breezy and sunny day here in South Florida!!
Love those signs, Ann – I claim the one that says I’m so far behind!!
Love this comment from South Florida!!
Fortunately the weather folks for wrong on the Blizzard prediction. Their theme song should be: “I’ve got’a be me.” You know; “Weather I’m right or weather I’m wrong……”
-Alan
You’re right, Alan, whether or not the weather is right or wrong.
It is cool and wet here again today, I would love a pill to combat over eating as I eat too much according to Tim
I love comments from you, Joanne!
I report snow up to my kneecaps in the drifts, and two shoveling in, Ann.
Thanks for the cool weather report, Mark.
My weather report is clear for these scrumptious food dishes

Your comment is very clear!
73 degrees, 28 degrees, 59 degrees, 19 degrees, 74 degrees. Patterns along that line. No wonder none of us know what’s going on!
You know what’s going on, Colleen!
Yes, and I get NO snow days out of it. Grrrr.
“Don’t race to a solution” really got to me!
Thanks for the report, Julie! <3
‘I’m so far behind I think I’m first’ – In a queue for traffic lights I always prefer to be last before the red, cos then we are first away on green 🙂
Even though you’re far behind in this queue of comments, Derrick, you’re still first.
🙂
