WATCH OUT! This is the first post in one thousand, nine hundred, and forty-eight consecutive blogging days to be titled “WATCH OUT!” although I watch out for things and also have a lot of watches.
WATCH OUT! Here’s the inspiration for today’s title:

What does “WATCH OUT!” mean to you?
To me, it means danger, pay attention, and also yesterday’s delivery of more unsalted sunflower seeds in the shell from nuts.com.
WATCH OUT! I’m not going to link to the nuts.com website because ever since I reordered my latest batch of unsalted sunflower seeds in the shell, when I watch a video on YouTube it’s preceded by an advertisement from nuts.com. WATCH OUT! Advertisers are watching out for themselves by watching us.
WATCH OUT! When I look for a song titled “WATCH OUT!” on YouTube, they all have explicit lyrics. WATCH OUT! The first line of “Watch Out” by Rich Brian is “They be salty like sodium” and the next lines are too salty for this blog (unlike the sunflower seeds from nuts.com).
WATCH OUT! Here are all my photos from yesterday, in consecutive order.

Harley feels safer when he can watch out from a higher level.
WATCH OUT! One of my photos inspires the choice of this musical selection, which you can watch on YouTube.
WATCH OUT! I assumed that there was a song “Meet Me in the Dugout” by Pink, but there isn’t.
WATCH OUT! Before I decide on a song we can watch, I want to suggest that you WATCH OUT! for world leaders who tweet in upper caps.
Here‘s “Watch Out” performed by the cast of Empire.
WATCH OUT! I’ve got to stop blogging this morning if I’m going to get to Physical Therapy on time.
WATCH OUT! There’s always time for thanks to all who help me create these posts and — of course! — to YOU.

Tomorrow(Thursday 3rd) is a big day for me, so I’ll be Watching Out, left and right, up and down, and sending love and kisses to my celestial star, shining above.
Sending love to you as you watch out on your big day, Ivor.
Thank you Ann, I feel your love xx
Watch out for whichever ad YouTube decides to deliver to you before this classic Dylan performance, Ann.

I watched out for ads but didn’t see any before this fabulous video, Mark. Thanks for sharing.
Lyrics too salty for this blog? Wow! Sorry I haven’t come around in a while dear Ann. Good to be here though. ♡
Diana xo
We’ve watched out for each other for a long time, Diana. Wonderful to see you back here. xxoo <3 <3
May you be peppered with spicy comments
Thanks for watching out for me, Derrick.
[W]e conjecture it is either some unknown animal, or the god that he worships…he seldom did any thing without consulting it. He called it his oracle, and said, it pointed out the time for every action of his life.
That’s from Gulliver’s Travels, and that description of Gulliver’s watch still tickles me, maybe even more so now that our watches, which many people watch carefully, have gotten so much more complicated and even watch us as much as we watch them.
Thanks for being an oracle for our time, Chris.
Rich Brian might be interested to know that sodium, Na, is a metal, not a salt. It must be combined with chlorine, Cl, to become a salt.
We have to watch out for our sodium because it can explode if it comes in contact with water. If you try to extinguish a sodium fire with water, you will make it worse.
The other things we have to watch out for, although for different reasons, are boxes of Purdy’s Pink Himalayan rock salt chocolate caramels.
I watch out for your elucidating comments for all the right reasons, Maureen.
What a fun post 🙂 Love the randomness of it all, yet it’s still held together by a single and all-capped thread! Great food shots, too. Nom.
Love your fun comment, Liz! Thanks for watching.
“Watch out! Doug is coming for you Andy”
Andy, one of my Persian kitty boys, has high blood pressure. He has to take an oral medicine (liquid, in chicken flavor…) each day. He is not amused! We play a daily game of catch Andy, while trying not to cause his blood pressure to rise while doing it. That’s a good trick!
As soon as I learn one of Andy’s techniques for avoiding me, he tries a new one out. It keeps us both young, I suppose, with all this brain power concentrating on ever-more complex cat-and-mouse games, with the cat being the mouse!
Such is the game that Andy spends most of the day after being caught running or sneaking past me at high speed. (Good exercise for a middle aged cat!) Later in the day, he figures out the ordeal is past – he does get Greenie kitty treats after the medicine, after all!- and is the same sweet kitty boy he ordinarily is, stopping by for a hearty, long “scritching”. Purr~purr~purr!
That is what “watch out” means to Andy…and me!
I love watching out for your great comments, Doug.
Thanks! I enjoy your unique and interesting way of looking at common moments and thought. It’s always a good time at your place! I feel I spent my time well when I stop by, not always the sense I feel after a long session on the Internet….
Watch out is what people yell when they see me falling because if I fell on them someone would be hurt maybe not badly but still people would be hurt
Thanks for dropping in here, Joanne. I always watch out for your comments.
That’s so funny about the nuts advertising. I can remember when I first started seeing the specific and targeted ads on my pages and I honestly thought it was coincidence. LOL! This was years ago now, but I honestly couldn’t imagine that our browsing was being tracked. How much we’ve learned since then! Yes, Watch Out! And your dinner looked absolutely delicious to me. Kudos to Chef Michael. 🙂
I honestly can’t imagine this blog without your thoughtful comments, Debra.
I likes your post “lots of watches” and admire the courage needed to make a life. I thought you might like this collection of antique watches.

Have a good time today and every day.
Although I watch out for comments daily, Graham, I somehow missed this one. Thanks for the link and let’s keep watching out for each other.
