In the midst of all the problems surrounding us, let’s take a pause.
I saw that when I took a pause on my walk yesterday.
Now, before I head off to the hospital for my in-person Monday work day, I’d like to pause my anxious thoughts and feelings to share my other images with you today.
.
Here’s what I find when I search for “pause” on YouTube.
.
Before I end this blog post, I’m going to pause again with Joan (and her paws).
.
Feel free to pause and leave a comment, below.
Thanks to all who stopped to take a pause with me today, including YOU.
Where and when I finish writing this, I might have a better understanding of where and when. At the very least, I’ll have completed another blog post on WordPress, today.
Where and when is home and January 8, 2023 — for me and maybe you.
Where and when is always here and now, no matter what.
Do you see where and when in my images for today?
Where and when did “Someday We’ll Laugh About This Week” come from and why does it coincide with my resolution (which I documented here, yesterday) to laugh at mistakes?
Where and when I search for “where and when” on YouTube, I find this:
Where and when I share my thanks to you for visiting today’s blog is … here and now!
Every one of my photos today could relate to everyone.
Everyone with a closed heart is driving me crazy.
That teabag is telling everyone to be kind to everyone else, but to be compassionate to oneself, in every moment. I hope everyone reading this can do that.
Everyone I know has been been encouraging me to keep writing songs. Thanks, everyone! I wrote every one of these words while I couldn’t sleep:
I’m looking forward to everyone’s comments and I’d like to thank everyone who helps me create every one of these daily posts, including everyone who reads them (like YOU).
Yesterday, I was told to meet my physical therapist by following some feet on the floor. I followed those feet out of the waiting room, through a door, and past small and large treatment rooms, but I wasn’t sure what to do when the feet went up the wall.
I expected there would be others about “others,” since I (and others) seem to think about others a lot of the time.
My first and last photos from yesterday both captured the word “others” (among others).
Were those two photos about others the only pictures I took yesterday? No, there were three others:
I spent a lot of time yesterday with seven others, talking about ourselves, others, and group therapy. As my t-shirt said, I was alone in the presence of others. And because there was mutual respect, trust, and love among me and the others, each of us had the time and space to be alone AND connected with the others in the room.
Therapy offers, as Winnicott eloquently says, a patient “to be alone in the presence of another.” Deep relationships offer this as well. This is the luxury of experiencing one’s internal world, while a caring person is present in the room, but not intrusive into one’s internal process.
Here‘s what comes up on YouTube when I search for “others”:
I wonder what others might think, feel, and say about today’s blog?
Thanks to all the others who helped me write this post (among others). Special thanks to you and all the others reading this, here and now.
Personally, I’m glad I took the time to find all those previous posts about time.
If you had time to read another one of my blog posts today, which of those posts would you choose? I hope you have time to answer that question and to let me know why you made that choice. If you don’t have the time to do that, I understand.
I shall now take the time to tell you which of those posts I would re-read, if I had the time:
Day 443: Changes in time, because I assume it’s about changing the clocks by an hour (as we did again last night) and
However, because so much time has passed since I wrote those two posts, I’m not sure if my assumptions (times 2) are true.
I’m not going to take the time to read any old posts of mine this morning, because I need to take some time to pick up and move three pieces of furniture for my new office at various times through the day. And because I need to rely on the kindness and time of others, I need to figure out some tricky time challenges, to make this all work. Plus, I want to leave some time for myself just to relax. I mean, isn’t that the way one should spend time, over a weekend, before it’s time to go back to work?
Now, I’m going to take the time to see if there are any new photos about time biding their time on my iPhone.
Here are the photos I took time to take yesterday when I was spending time with my downstairs neighbor Karen, my son Aaron, and/or my boyfriend Michael — all time well spent:
I shall now take the time to tell you that this …
.. is entirely made of candy (except for the wood), according to my neighbor Karen.
Here‘s another song about time from a long time past, performed by a local group from Boston:
Unlike Orpheus, I CAN find the time to tell you this:
Several times while I’ve been writing this post, my son’s alarm has gone off, because he’s taking the time to help me move furniture this morning and
If my long-time friend Janet is reading this post, I’m assuming she might take the time to tell me that the band Orpheus is actually from her home town of Worcester, Massachusetts, not Boston.
Like 1167-or-so previous times, it’s time for me to thank all those who helped me create this post and also you — of course! — for taking the time to visit, here and now.
