Yesterday, I saw a 2024 calendar claiming that good things are coming.

.
I was skeptical because I check the news every day and, if you do that, you would never think that good things are coming.
My husband Michael and I had a good conversation yesterday about how the news these days is not so much about what has happened, but more speculation about bad things that “experts” think are coming in the future. Bad things are coming, for sure, but chances are good things are coming, too.
Let’s hope that good things are coming in this blog post.

.
Good things are coming if you listen and don’t attack.
Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “good things are coming.”

I know that good comments are coming, below.
Thanks to all who help me realize that good things are coming, including YOU.

I do believe this, good things are ahead, hope is what keeps us going
I hope you know how you keep many of us going, beth.
As a kid kid, I recall enjoying the Flintstones and their spinoff The Jetsons, Ann. As a kid I remember appreciating Star Trek on original network showings with my father.
Good memories, my friend.
I liked laughing at sitcoms with my dad. He had a great laugh.
That’s so good to hear, Debbie.
That calendar makes me think of a 1970’s album cover…and I agree that there’s very little in the way of “news reading” these days. So much bloviating, it’s hard to figure out what the news is, sometimes. I’m trying to strike a balance between being an informed citizen and being driven to distraction…
It’s good to know that we’re not alone, Lisa.
I thought I’d learned some bad news but, after further checking, it turned out to be okay. Sometimes all we need is a little more information. And a new song from you is very good news.
That’s very good to know, my good friend.
Let’s hope so… Have a nice week-end, Ann
Same to you!
Good things are coming. Yes, expect them! As a kid one of my favorite TV shows was the Loretta Young Show. I loved the ending where she would come out, twirl around in her full-skirted dress, looking beautiful, and give us some words of wisdom. I wonder if there are any reruns of that show? I also liked “The Lone Ranger” with the Cisco Kid!!
Thanks for sharing these good things, Jan.
Thanks for reading and leaving a comment, Ann. I appreciate you!
The font of the “good things are coming” calendar cover reminds me of the 1970s.
