Day 3609: Unknowns

In the notes I write about my patients, the list of stressors often includes “unknowns about the future.” However, unknowns aren’t always stressful, as this teabag tells us:

.

Are there unknowns in my other images for today?

Before today, Mickey Mouse’s birthday was unknown to me.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “unknowns.”

Thanks to all who deal with unknowns every day, including YOU!

Day 3603: Letting go of regret

Letting go of regret is a very good habit to practice, since we can’t change the past.

Here and now, I’m letting go of regret about several things I coulda/shoulda/woulda done differently, including not beginning today’s New York Times Wordle puzzle with my usual starting word. Even though that word would have been a better choice than the one I picked today (out of boredom and wanting to try something new), I still solved the puzzle in four tries, which I regret only because I’m locked in a fierce Wordle battle with my husband, Michael.

I have no regret about marrying Michael and I have no regret about taking our cat Joan outside on a leash (even though Joan loudly seems to regret that I don’t take her out more often).

I am now letting go of regret about the images I did and did not collect for today’s post.

The Daily Bitch seems to be letting go of regret about dusting.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “letting go of regret.”

Thanks to Kathryn Schulz and to everyone else who helps me in letting go of regret, including YOU!

Day 3581: Any good news lately?

Because there’s been so much bad news everywhere, I decided to ask people yesterday if there had been any good news lately.

It doesn’t hurt to ask, even though I didn’t know what the answers would be. And while many people have responded “no” and “not really,” there’s been a lot of good news, too.

Knowing about good news gives me some hope about the future, which I definitely need these days.

Is there any good news in my latest images?

The good news is that there are lots of great food trucks out there.

Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “any good news lately?”

Any good news lately where you are?

Thanks to all who help me focus more on the good news, including YOU.

Day 3580: States

The United States of America is approaching its midterm election. I am in such a state about the state of our country that I’m afraid to read what this New York Times article states:

I’d like to state that I live in the state of Massachusetts and I wish that the state of my country and the world weren’t so precarious right now. I hope people are in clear-thinking states of mind when they vote in their local elections. The state of inflation is bad world-wide right now and we can’t overstate how often people vote based on the state of their bank accounts. .

What states can you find in my other images for today?

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “states” on YouTube:

.

What state are you in? Feel free to state your states in a comment, below.

I’m in a state of gratitude for everyone who helps me state my states every day, including YOU!
