“No need to apologize” is something I say in my therapy groups quite often, so I’ve started writing a new song with that title.

No need to apologize if you think that needs work.
Do you see no need to apologize in my images for the day?

.
The Daily Bitch sees no need to apologize and neither do I.
Here’s what I find when I search for “no need to apologize” on YouTube:

No need to apologize if you do or don’t leave a comment, below.
I have no need to apologize but I do need to thank all who are here, now, including YOU!

I’m happy to see the beauty here, Ann.
I’m always happy when you’re here, Mark.
I have to disagree with “no need to apologize if you’ve done nothing wrong.” For instance, the other day at the grocery store, I was through the line and wheeling my cart away, when I stopped to make certain my wallet was fully inside my bag. I felt a slight “oomph” on my butt, and turned to see the bagger, who was getting ready for the next customer. We both I’m sorried all over the place, me for staying in his way, him for bumping me. Both of us ended up smiling, turning the whole thing from an awkward incident into a friendly encounter. Not sorry. 🙂
Mutual sorries can turn your day around if you sorry with the right-hearted stranger
Not sorry about being sorry! Great.
That is another wonderful and wise song, Ann. I look forward to hearing you sing it
I’m still working on it, Maureen, and maybe I’ll sing it to you when I see you.
I know some people who never apologize. I’m not apologizing for them but they make me very conscious of how much “I’m sorry” when I feel I’ve done something wrong, no matter how small, can help others feel better.
You can do no wrong here, Chris.

with the kinder, I teach them to stop and ask, ‘are you okay?’ when something has happened with another child, after they answer either way, they will then ask, ‘what can I do to make it better?’ it is rarely an apology they are looking for, instead they ask them not to do it again, tell them it hurt their feelings or body, ask for a hug, or ask them to play with them. no rote ‘I’m sorry’ unless they ask for an apology.
Beautiful, beth.
Oh my, the poetry for your song lists so many valid reasons why there is no need to apologize. But are there times when an apology is warranted. I certainly apologize if I have hurt someone’s feelings or reacted too hastily and critically to a situation that needed my clearer understanding. An apology acknowledges that I was wrong – and reminds me to do/be better in the future.
No need to apologize for this great comment, Jan!
