Day 3963: Facial expressions

In yesterday’s blog post, I referenced an article on a study about the variety of cats’ facial expressions.

I am very aware of facial expressions, even those on a pumpkin.

.

I particularly notice facial expressions that show some level of distress or anger. Thinking about facial expressions yesterday, I started writing two new songs, including “Other People’s Anger.”

.

I wonder about my readers’ facial expressions as I reveal that the other new song is “It’s Hard to Get Shit Done When You’re Scared Shitless.”

Let’s see what facial expressions show up in my other images for today.

.

Rather than let the Daily Bitch have the last word on facial expressions, here’s what I find when I search for “facial expressions” on YouTube.

.

What are your thoughts, feelings, and facial expressions about all this?

My facial expression, here and now, reflects my gratitude to all who help me blog daily, including YOU!

  1. I voted too, Ann. Did you hear that voters vote and polls don’t?

  2. yay for your songs!
First hopes after yesterday’s votes were in. Maybe , maybe reproductive rights will be a uniting issue going forward..
And Now This! (as the news casters used to say)
“Think cats are aloof? They make nearly 300 facial expressions, study says.
Researchers videotaped cats at a California cafe for nearly a year and found that felines can display at least 276 facial expressions.

  3. Well, I’m back, having survived and actually enjoyed most of three days with my family – my grand niece and her partner joined us for dinner, prepared for us by the chef in the family, my niece’s husband. I had a lovely conversation with my sister-in-law, and then despite my brother’s attempts to mansplain Ukraine and Israel to me, I also got some time alone with my sister, so I call the whole thing a triumph.

  4. I have a happy expression after reading your posts and scared expression after being near angry people
