Over the years, I’ve gotten praise for the pictures I’ve taken for this blog, so I think it’s time for a blog post about how to take pictures.

For me, how to take pictures is simple and straightforward: I see something interesting, frame it with my phone, and press the button.

    I’ve been very lucky in taking pictures ever since I got my first Canon digital camera years ago. For me, it’s all in the framing.

  3. I used to think all it took to take a good picture was having the right subject. Experience has taught me it takes a lot more than that though having the right subject still helps. For instance it’s impossible to take a bad picture of Joan.
