Day 4872: Spend time on what matters most

When I returned to work yesterday to spend time on what matters most to me (group therapy), I saw this sign at the hospital.

.

Now, let’s spend time on what matters most in my images for today.

Every new day, I resolve to spend time on what matters most.
I’m going to spend time reading this book that matters by my friend and recent traveling companion Janet Raye Stevens (who also writes under the name Evie Kelley).
I’m going to spend less time on captions for the rest of this blog post.

.

Here’s what I find when I spend time searching YouTube for “spend time on what matters most.”

.

I spend time on what matters most, like expressing gratitude to those who matter most, including YOU!

  1. i am beginning my day by reading and writing on blogs and then heading off to do things as they unfold, just as freedom to go with the moment is often what matters to me most

I wish I had a button that read, “Show me in the Bible where it says that guacamole is extra.”

(stealing that for my FB post today 😊

What means most to me? 1. Protesting with Silver Badgers for an hour on Saturday afternoons; 2. Working on my jigsaw puzzle.

  3. It’s really hard for me to focus on what matters most because so many things matter. But the question about travel companions reminded me of the time I rode to a one-day work conference with a coworker whom I barely knew. She was nice, very professional, but as we went through Bowling Green, Kentucky I was tempted to suggest we skip the conference and take the Lost River Cave Tour. I didn’t, though, and I don’t know if that makes me a good travel companion or a bad one.
