Because of my history of needing hospitalizations for heart issues just when I started feeling confident and positive about myself at an early age, I unconsciously expect disaster to happen if I am feeling very happy and secure. This relates to the word of the day: “foofaraw.”

.
After spending a fabulous day yesterday with my son (who is visiting from graduate school) and my husband, I do not want to make a foofaraw about a minor medical issue I am experiencing today.
Also, I talked to my son yesterday about my music and how I avoid adding foofaraw when I’m recording my original songs.
Without any foofaraw, here are my images for today.

.
Do you think there’s any foofaraw in my Holiday Song?
.
Thanks to all who are here for my daily foofaraws, including YOU!!

&Thanks for the “new word of the day”! I didn’t want any foofaraw over “saddling up & getting on with things” yesterday, but nevertheless I’m proud of myself…
It took a lot of grit & determination, chased by handfuls of ibuprofen!
Good job and thanks for the comment!
I love that word! What a fun word!
What a fun comment, Carol Anne!
I’ll see your foofaraw and raise you a dumfounded, which I was on Friday when I asked my son where to find the mic on my new (wonderful) headphones, and he told me that there wasn’t one because I had asked for headphones, not a headset. So I guess the equipment I wanted to replace was a headset, not just headphones. But I’m not tech canny enough to know the difference. But since he had participated in video calls with his sister and I had told him how much I loved the Zoom calls with my friend Hall, I assumed he would know what I was asking for. I didn’t know to ask for a headset.
I have thought of a workaround, which I think will work, i.e., use old headset for any video calls I have – but geez Louieez! Anyway, this is all pretty much offset by a very generous gift from my sister, which will allow me to take myself to the movies this week for the new Avatar. And I have a new amazing jigsaw puzzle awaiting me on New Year’s Day.
I honestly thought that all headphones have a microphone these days, Barbara, so color me dumbfounded.
Well, now you know. Be careful what you ask for! 🙂
Crème brûlée is the ideal dessert. It seems so fancy but doesn’t have a lot of foofaraw: just simple custard topped with a sugar crust. But a little foofaraw, like some fruit and whipped cream, doesn’t hurt either.
Thanks for another ideal comment, Chris.
I love the word and I love playing in the fluffy snow. the food all looks wonderful and remember when it changes, that everything in life is temporary and enjoy it while you can – see it as a new food adventure
I love your comments, beth.
