Day 4708: What gives you hope?

What gives you hope?

What gives me hope is the amazing people in my therapy groups and other people who are brave, authentic, thoughtful, and kind.

.

It gives me hope that I have hope after spending time on social media.

Here’s what I find when I search for “what gives you hope?” on YouTube:

.

Thanks to all those who give me hope, including YOU!

  1. Nothing beats good friends – especially when your extended family is toxic 😀

  2. waking up and having all possibilities on the table each day anew

Today I hope to encourage everyone to Google Signum University and check out all the stuff they have to offer. It’s their annual fundraising drive, and they are supported almost entirely by donations. Want to study anything Tolkien related? Ancient languages? Listen to (free) Mythgard Academy close readings of The Lord of the Rings and other books? Check out (free) the people visualizing a fantasy TV show on The Silmarillion? Lots of fun. I hope you find something. They are very hopeful people! I will mention Ann in their comments one of these days. Promise! 🙂

  4. In college I studied the philosophy of Camus which fascinated me but one thing I could never fully accept was his idea of a life without hope. As long as we’re alive, I think, we have hope.

  5. People being kind to each other, Ann.

  6. It is always good to have hope!
