My memory tells me that studies indicate that we are constantly changing our memories when we access them but I still enjoy many favorite memories.
I’ve spent almost a dozen years sharing favorite memories here every day so why not share some more today?

One of my favorite memories is performing my original songs at the Lilypad on June 1, 2024.

Thanks to all who help me create favorite memories, including YOU!

I love when memories pop into my head and I know they come from the heart
Thanks for your heartfelt comments, beth.
@leiataillefur I have similar wonderful memories. Falling in love with Venice, wandering around in Notre Dame and suddenly hearing an English choir singing “Beautiful Savior” in one of the chapels, and walking through Skara Brae, a 3,000-year-old Neolithic village in the Orkneys. A favorite is entering the ruins of Tintern Abbey, in Wales, and the beauty filling (atheist) me with an urge to kneel in the grass and worship something. Not a conversion moment, but one which has helped lead me to a further understanding of those who believe.
Beautiful, Barbara.
I like how hearing other people’s memories bring back memories of my own—not necessarily happy memories but I still find it interesting that someone’s happy memory of graduating from university reminds me of graduating from high school. My mother invited a bunch of her friends over and expected me to be there for her party. A group of my friends showed up and “rescued” me.
Thanks for the memories, Chris.
Thanks for the memories, Ann. Shopping and eating with you in Cape Cod are favorites of mine.
I love those memories too, Mark.
