Day 4668: What gets stuck in our heads

In my therapy groups, people discuss what gets stuck in our heads, including negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, regrets about the past, and fears about the future.

Here’s an example of what gets stuck in our heads.

.

Wonderful people also get stuck in my head (thank goodness) including the late Eleanor Counselman, whose memorial service I attended yesterday.

Let’s look for more examples of what gets stuck in our heads.

.

On World Thrombosis Day, I hope a thrombosis doesn’t get stuck in our heads.

Here’s the tune that often gets stuck in my head.

What gets stuck in your head?

Gratitude can also get stuck in our heads, so THANK YOU!

Hi there, fellow Deadhead Boltarama. Sweet Caroline was what I often sang to my infant daughter sweet Caroline. <3

  3. This weekend I went to a community festival. As I was walking among the booths I heard Janis Joplin’s “Little Piece Of My Heart” and thought it was coming from a radio. Instead it was coming from a live band on a stage. The same young woman then sang Radiohead’s “Creep” and she and the bass player sang Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”. I’ve been happy to have all three in my head since.

  4. Joan on her cat post is stuck in my head, Ann, and I like it!

  5. Music stuck in my head? “Go now in peace. Never be afraid. God will go with you each hour of every day. Go now in love and show you believe. Reach out to others so all the world can see… ” It’s the song we sing at the end of every Sunday’s church service. I love the words and the tune. Yes, it gets stuck in my head!
