What I know is that I’ve had to clean out and leave my office of over 10 years. What I don’t know is how it will be working without an office on a different floor of the hospital.
What I know is that I did an Open Mic last night at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge. What I don’t know is the future of my musical aspirations.
What I know is that I found this when I was cleaning out my office yesterday…

… and what I don’t know is what you think about the synchronicity with today’s Daily Bitch Calendar.

What I know is that I took a lot of pictures yesterday in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston and in Cambridge’s Central Square. What I don’t know is what kind of story they will tell to you.

On National Be a Millionaire Day I know that one of the songs I sang last night is about being a millionaire (among other things).

Here’s the first thing I find on YouTube when I search for “what I know and what I don’t know.”

What I know is that I’m grateful to all who are here for this what-I-know-and-what-I-don’t-know post, including YOU!

I think it’s a strength to say it when you don’t know, Ann.
I know that I agree with you, Mark.
The only time I hate saying “I don’t know” is when my son brings me a new Final Jeopardy answer. 🙂 Also, I don’t know how you are going to do it, but you will do it – moving space at the hospital, that is. Your post today feels a little jumpy – as in jumping around. Unsettled. And no wonder. I’ve only had my little home office for almost 8 years and can’t imagine life without it. I can’t promise it will be easy, but you will adopt new ways of doing things every day, and soon enough they will become as habitual as yesterday seems to have been. Maybe your groups can help you with the frustration? Maybe find a safe place where you can scream? Then keep calm and carry on! 🙂
I know that this is all helpful, Barbara!
Are you supposed to carry around your office supplies/needs? Or will you have a spot to park them?
I think supplies will stay in the space I will be sharing with others. Thanks for asking, Debbie!
I am sorry that you had to clear out your office and that you won’t have a space if your own. Your office had many special and comforting things in it like your moods poster, and I think your clients will miss them.
I know that I really appreciate your comments, Maureen.
I know moving is stressful because I’m in the midst of it too, and I know some experiences, including moving, are better when shared. I don’t know if that helps but I hope it does.
You always help, Chris.
here’s hoping that your move goes okay and that you find your new place to settle. I am okay with saying I don’t know, and even when teaching I would say I don’t know to the kids, and tell that we could find the answer together so that they would also know that it was okay not to know everything.
Thanks for always helping me settle, beth!
What an adorable picture of you and your father, Ann. Will you still be in the Shapiro building?
Thank you and I will be on the 6th floor.
