Trust is a topic that constantly comes up in my therapy groups. Many people are working on figuring out who they can trust. In the past, their trust has been betrayed. They are afraid of trusting too much and trusting too little. And they are learning how to trust themselves.

I trust Frances Frei. Because I distrust the current USA government and because she is, according to her Wikipedia page, “the course lead for first-year diversity and inclusion studies at Harvard Business School,” I don’t know whether to trust that Frances Frei will continue to get the support she deserves.
What are your thoughts and feelings about trust?
Thanks to all those I trust, including YOU.

Harley in his interesting gray tube makes me smile this morning. Thank you, Ann.
He just recently started trusting that tube, Mark, and that made us smile, too.
Looks like your kitties trust YOU!
And I trust you, Claudia!
I choose to trust, because not trusting is way too complicated. I also choose to be trustworthy, even though there are times when I cannot follow through. So when others disappoint me, I like to think it is for similar reasons.
I trust that I will always learn from your comments, Barbara.
It looks like Joan trusts Stephen Colbert, whom I also trust. People who’ve worked with Colbert say he’s very supportive and trusts his staff, and I think people who trust others can be trusted themselves.
I trust you too, Chris.
once trust it lost, it’s very hard for to regain it for someone.
So true, beth, and I wonder if the rest of the world will ever be able to trust the USA again.
