Day 4480: Step into the spotlight

Today is April 8, Step Into the Spotlight Day!

.

During these times when toxic narcissists are hogging the spotlight and damaging the world, the rest of us need to step into the spotlight.

It was wonderful to see so many of us step into the spotlight on the streets of the USA this past Saturday. I’m looking forward to the next day of mass protests on April 19 and I hope that millions more will step into the spotlight then with me.

Pardon me as I step into the spotlight with my images for today.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “step into the spotlight” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who help me step into the spotlight here every day, including YOU!

I’m stepping into the spotlight today as I go for cataract surgery on my right eye (left eye done two weeks ago). After that, my books and computer screen will be in the spotlight of my two eyes with new lenses that are making my bifocals unnecessary. But when will I get over the urge to readjust my glasses, as I reach to straighten them when changing from book to screen?

  3. I’m not a fan of being in the spotlight, but I so do love light!

  4. I’m glad when libraries get to be in the spotlight. They’re important to a lot of people and I worry we’re in danger of losing them.

  5. THANK YOU for all taking to the streets, and giving us hope here in Australia, where we watch with horror at so much of what is happening to your country. Some of the protest signs are hilariously clever, and so sadly true. Keep it up, good people, we’re with you! <3

    • There are many of us in the USA who protest this administration, despite awful people who are often getting the media spotlight. Thanks for your enlightening comment from Australia!
