Day 4479: World Health Day

Today is World Health Day.

.

As described by its Wikipedia page, World Health Day is observed by all member states of the World Health Organization.

Unfortunately, the USA’s unhealthy president withdrew us from that organization earlier this year.

.

If I were still in Italy, I could be observing World Health Day by doing healthy things like eating fresh, healthy food and immersing myself in beautiful sights and art. Instead, I’m returning to work on World Health Day to try to help vulnerable people in the USA maintain their mental and physical health.

According to economic predictors, World Health Day may be a very unhealthy day, financially, for the world.

Let’s try to stay as healthy as we can on World Health Day.

.

On World Health Day, I’ll be singing show tunes on my way to work.

Here’s what I find when I search for “world health day” on YouTube:

.

How are you going to spend World Health Day?

Thanks to all who improve my health every day, including YOU!

  1. I plan to take a walk today, Ann, hopefully helping my health,

My brilliant daughter, who helps people for a living: Yesterday I helped a brilliant young person stabilize and set an appointment to get started with some counseling.

This was her “excuse” for not marching. I think she’s in it for the health of us all.

  3. Spike Milligan’s gravestone reads “I told you I was ill.” Maybe it’s fitting to celebrate this particular World Health Day with a bit of dark humor.

  4. oops, a little late, at least it waam’t a world health day appointment, but I spent part of it walking with friends and having a nice breakefast together after in a little diner after.
