Day 4414: What’s happening?

Whenever I post on the site formerly known as Twitter, the default text says “What’s happening?” I’m very concerned with what’s happening in the USA, so yesterday I posted this:

.

Here are some people trying to make sense of what’s happening:

.

What’s happening in my other images for today?

.

What’s happening today? A lot.

.

Here’s what I find on YouTube today when I search for “what’s happening?”

.

What’s happening with you?

Many thanks to all who help me deal with what’s happening, including YOU!

  1. I have said from the very first time he ran, “I bid one no Trump!” I even had a bracelet made that said that that I wore. But it is obvious that the majority did not agree and that the whole world is falling into ruin. Important to just maintain a sane world around us in the world we have influence over. Unfortunately, those who voted for him are all watching Fox news and can just blame our crumbling world on the Democrats! The powers that fought against the Nazis all seem to be falling to turn into that world they once fought against. Until those who succumbed to that dark side of themselves start to transition back to the light, I don’t know what hope there is in the world.

    • It’s difficult to be hopeful during these dark days. Thanks for shining your light here.

      • I know, Ann. I simply have to try to concentrate on other things, but then he comes up with yet another frightening move. How can any intelligent person not be frightened, Democrat or Republican?

  2. Nothing positive or good from my perspective. Even worse for others.

  3. I don’t know what’s worse, Ann, what he’s doing or that more than half our country is behind him. Both give me chills on top of this weather.

  4. we are dealing with insane ‘super villians’ like in a James Bond. movie, but unfortunately very real. I continue to be a part of and support groups that are working to hold them off.

I think the Daily Bitch calls it. Who knew that so much could be undone in so short a time by so few? But don’t keep thinking that the “majority” wanted this. More people voted against the FF than for him, so that means a little more than half of us are appalled. He’s even disbanded the President’s Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and apparently is thinking of negating New York City’s new congestion pricing scheme. In other words, if it’s a good thing, he’s agin’ it. And yes, he is why we can no longer have good things.

  6. Sometimes it can feel very lonely, living in a red part of the country, so it’s nice to see some validation that I’m not the only one thinking this is going very badly. And we’re only a couple weeks in.

  7. I like that people have such diverse definitions of “success” and what makes it, but I don’t feel like any of the definitions exclude the others. You’re a success because you draw people to you who value others and you bring out the best in them.

  8. So scary
