During these unprecedented times, comfort zones can be few and far between.
I will be returning to my comfort zone of The Lily Pad in Cambridge on August 31 to give another concert. This time all profits will go to ActBlue, as I try to help keep the USA a comfort zone for like-minded citizens.

For this concert, my comfort zone includes writing new lyrics, like these for my song “Triggers.”
For me it’s bad people in power
Or running out of hot water while taking a shower.
The news triggers many, like my husband when he
Sees political talking heads blustering each hour.

Thanks to all whose comfort zones include this blog, including YOU.

Goo luck with the concert Anne! I love your lyrics for the song triggers! <3
Thank you, Carol Anne!! xxoo
Here’s hoping that our country is moving on to less daily triggers, Ann.
I hope so too, my friend.
May comfort zone is right here in my little lair, with a jigsaw on one table, another project on the other, and my computer and monitor right in front of me. Here is where I access you, and so many others I follow: Jamelle Bouie, Jennifer Rubin, The Tolkien Professor, and others. I write a little, read a little, play a little. Very comfy.
I think it’s admirable that your comfort zone is performing. For so many people the thought of being on stage is frightening while also tempting, and knowing it’s a comfort zone for you makes it seem less scary.
here’s to a concert with a cause! I’m not a comfortable performer, but I am finding my comfort zone at the lake
