“All your feelings are welcome” is something I say in my Coping and Healing groups. At the end of the group, I often add “including disappointment” to remind people that the welcomed feelings include “negative” ones they might be judging or not expressing.
Yesterday, as all my feelings were welcome by my friend Barbara and her boyfriend Jim, I noticed that our server at Condesa Restaurante Mexicano was wearing different feelings:

She told us she had created that other side of the happy octopus.

I hope she knew that all her feelings were welcomed by us.
All your feelings are welcome about my other images for today.

All your feelings are welcome about those holidays and observances. Personally, I’ll be celebrating International Lefthander’s Day with feeling!
All your feelings are welcome about comedian Leanne Morgan, who was recommended to me yesterday by Jim.

All your feelings are welcome in the comments section, below.
Thanks to all who helped me create this all-your-feelings-are-welcome post, including YOU!

your waitress had ‘flair’
it takes one person with “flair” to know another one, beth.
I’m feeling glad that the tornado watches and warnings that broke into our local TV programming last night did not get updated with reports of actual tornado landings, Ann. I’m at the same time still feeling sad that the folks who live in Maui are dealing with the deaths, ruins and devastations from this week’s wildfires. Paradise lost, indeed.
All your feelings are welcome, my caring friend.
Loved Kitty IT! I pushed one of my wine goblets off the counter last night. All because I was too “lazy” to move the pot that was on the left side of the bottle, so when I picked up the bottle to twist the cap, my right elbow hit the goblet and smash. Third time’s a charm, I hope. I somehow hit the overhead light in my car last week, leaving it on all week and needing a jump to go shopping on Friday. And then, reading a story I had downloaded, I somehow hit a button that immediately transferred it into HUGE TYPE in a completely different format and saved itself there, and I still haven’t gotten it back to it’s original shape. So I’ll leave it to you to guess my feelings on the matter. 🙂
I’m feeling empathy right now!
I’ve gotten the story back to its original form. Thank you for the empathy. I needed that. 🙂 God’s in her heaven and all’s right with my world.
Sometimes I hear “wearing your heart on your sleeve” described as a bad thing but I think it’s good to express feelings. Your waitress went a step further: she wore her feelings close to her heart.
All your feelings and thoughts are welcome, my friend.
I found those photos of Joan and Harley very soothing today.
Your comments are very soothing too, Maureen.
I wonder what you did to celebrate left-handers day. Did you mostly turn left all day? Did you write by hand all day? Do you have a secret left hander handshake? I celebrate you everyday when I come and visit your blog but you are ambidextrous on the screen.
Thank you for your compliments, Maureen, which are never left-handed.
