This post! One of my favorites among all that you’ve written! I struggle with my reactions to events and changes that are out of my control. I worry and obsess and examine scenarios and wear myself out! Ironically, other people often tell me that they observe how well I deal with unexpected situations. Making my internal state match the external handling is the challenge — and progress comes slowly in tiny steps forward, interrupted by backward steps along the way.
