Lately, I’ve been talking a lot to my amygdala (the ancient part of the brain that is always looking for danger), so I appreciated seeing “Don’t Panic!” yesterday on my walk.

.
“Don’t Panic!“ I tell myself, as
- we’re in another fraught election year,
- climate change continues,
- medical systems seem particularly overburdened and inefficient,
- I’m dealing with several chronic health conditions,
- I spend what seems like hours on hold needing to talk to human beings,
- experts contradict each other or don’t have answers, and
- people are panicking all around me.
I hope my other images convincingly say “Don’t Panic!”

Here’s what I find when I search for “Don’t Panic!” on YouTube.

I don’t panic when I realize I’m not alone, so thanks for being here, now.
