This morning, I’ll be traveling into work at the hospital via ferry, foot, and subway. In less than a week, I’ll be traveling to Switzerland alone via airplane.
I experience anxiety and excitement whenever, wherever, and however I’m traveling.
Are you ready to be traveling through my images for today?

On Weather Complaint Day, I’m deciding to not complain about the weather when I’m traveling, as you can see in this exchange with ChatGPT.

Here’s what I find about traveling to Switzerland on YouTube:

Thanks to all who are traveling with me, here and now, including YOU!

I love the process in travel, the adventure of getting from one place to another.
Everything can be an adventure, beth, as we know.
Nice try, Eric Yake. Yes, the Winged Victory is at the top of a stairway in the Louvre, but the Mona Lisa and the Wreck of the Medusa are in different rooms. Still nice putting Joan in illustrious company. (I know this because I traveled there.)
I did not rent a car in Italy, France, or Greece. But my daughter and our friend Jeanie and I rented a car in Turkey. I’ve rented a car for two driving trips around the U.K., and have done my own driving tours of the American N.E. and S.W. I like to plan trips around history and literature and have the freedom to pull over at odd little places that catch my eye.
I have missed having someone to say, “Hey, check that out,” to, but then maybe they wouldn’t have wanted to stop at that obscure spot in the road anyway. 🙂
I’m definitely looking forward to going it alone, Barbara.
Even when I have a destination I like to travel without an itinerary. When my wife and I went from Tennessee to California she wouldn’t let me drive because she knew I’d stop at every weird little roadside shop and attraction. Once, in a train station in Wales I wrote in my journal, “If travel broadens the mind my head is going to explode.” I was a bit frustrated but even though things hadn’t gone the way I wanted I was still happy to be traveling. And I found unexpectedly fun things because of that change.
As usual, Chris, you are inspiring me to look forward to traveling.
I loved the sinking boat named No Worries. Perhaps I feel a kinship. Hope you love Switzerland UnJudgmentally and UnAnxiously!
I will do my best, Maureen! 💕
