I still call it twitter. I still use several terms even though they have gone out of vogue. What does it mean really? Well, for one, we are not trendy. We can be a trend setter but not trendy. By the time everyone else catches the trend, we have already lived it.

As far as favorite Redford film, admittedly I have not seen many of those mentioned by others, but of the few I have seen, Barefoot in the Park is by far my favorite; he and Jane Fonda were magical together. As far as his direction- as a fly-fisher – it is A River Runs Through It. And while I have never fished the Gallatin River, I have fished the Bitteroot and Clarks Fork in Montana.

  2. Yes, Robert Redford gave us much to admire, Ann.

Ooh. What does it mean that I forgot “Out of Africa”? One of my favorites if only because of Isak Dinesen. But Redford was handsomely unforgettable! 🙂 And I, too, call X Twitter, but sometimes I refer to it as XTwitter, because it is literally Ex-Twitter. 🙂

  4. I was surprised only one person answered “Sneakers” as a favorite Robert Redford movie. In it he and a wonderful ensemble cast get a device that can break any code. It’s a great thriller.
