When I don’t like what I’m watching on the news, I take breaks by watching movies, people, and animals that give me comfort.
Can you tell what I’m watching by looking at my images for today?

.
What I’m watching includes how many protests there will be in the USA on President’s Day and Sarah Cooper’s terrific videos.
.
What I’m watching includes wonderful people like YOU!

My dear wife Karen and I enjoyed watching the new Bridget Jones movie together this weekend on Peacock, Ann. Renee Zellweger is outstanding.
Good to know, Mark. Thanks!
I don’t take time for streaming movies (I should make some time for that), but I’m looking forward to when my SS money comes in on Wednesday, because I will sub to HBO Max for a month and watch the 4th season of The Wire and whatever else catches my eye for that month. Did not see The Wire the first time around – thought it would be just another iteration about drugs in the hood, and I was tired of that, but when I got HBO for something else a year or so ago, I tried it and was delightfully surprised. How I wish the FF could hear someone whistling “The Farmer in the Dell” coming down the hallway, and the Chief of Staff popping his head into the Oval to say, “Omar comin'”
‘somebody somewhere’ on hbo max was absolutely uplifting
Good to know, beth!
I was recently reminded of the actor Joe E. Brown who has the final (and some of us would say funniest) line in “Some Like It Hot”. Brown was a remarkable person who was also the commentator for the first local broadcast of a baseball game in Boston and he testified in favor of allowing fifty-thousand Jewish refugee children being allowed into the United States in 1939. He and his wife then adopted two refugee children. I’d like to see a film about him.
I would love to watch that, Chris.
