With all the lies that are being told these days, do we really need a Tell a Lie Day?

.
Personally, I prefer Honesty Day to Tell a Lie Day. In the meantime, I’m wondering if I should observe Tell a Lie Day by telling a lie in today’s blog.
That reminds me of a game I used to play with my son — Two Truths and a Lie. We would each name three things we did that day and then try to guess which was a lie.
It’s always been very easy to get my son to share information about his day and what he’s been doing.
Okay, now that I’ve gotten the lie out of the way, do you see any lies in my images for today?

I think that’s an appropriate Daily Bitch for Tell a Lie Day.
Here’s what I find when I look for “lies” on YouTube.

If you watched that video, I assume you’ll be able to tell that there are no lies in this concluding statement: I am grateful for all those who helped me create this “lies” blog post, including YOU!

I hope that Aaron is enjoying grad school
I hope so too, Maureen.
Dinner at the Sylvia Beach Hotel in Newport, OR used to (maybe still does) serve family style and likes to break the ice with the “Two Truths and a Lie” game.” I have got my very own photo of that sculpture of the starving Irish that I took in Boston. And in defense of little ordinary everyday lies, I still maintain that it is absolutely proper that one tells one’s significant other that the traffice was just a mess, when failing to pick them up on time, instead of the truth which is likely that it took me forever to beat that last boss in my video game, honey.
Whenever I tell I lies I seem to get caught, so honesty (or silence) seems to be the best policy for me, Barbara.
Yesterday I told my writing group I was rewriting Charlotte’s Web “so the pig dies and the spider lives.” I made the mistake of being a day early for Tell A Lie Day because some people thought I was serious.
I love what you tell, Chris, and that’s no lie.
I am tired and I want to lie down, and that’s no lie
I hope you got a good lie down, beth.
What a clever strategy for getting a child/teen to talk about their day!
It worked!
