Day 4109: What do you do when your heart aches?

Last night, after seeing heart-aching and heart-breaking news, I asked this question on Twitter.

.

… this,

… and this:

.

Thanks to all who help me deal with heartache, including you.

  1. Thank you for posting the song “It’s a Heartache.” I always loved it, even when I wasn’t experiencing my own. But I have certainly stood in the cold rain feeling like a clown on a few occasions. And the song is right. It ain’t right. 🙁

  2. Sometimes when my heart aches, I read your blog. 💜

  3. Several years ago when I was going through intense grief I realized that we never really recover from a loss; they form a scar. But it comforts me to have those scars as reminders of what I had.

  4. sometimes our hearts have to ache to remind us that we are alive
