  1. Awesome quotes! Love them all!

  2. I hope your holiday continues to fill your heart with joy, Ann.

  3. A new tradition here in Madison, having left my old ones back in Seattle, just might be getting a new Advent calendar every year and opening a window every day with my son. It was his idea – next year, though, we’re getting a bigger one. Last night I had to bring in the magnifying glass to find #21. And look! A swan! Or is it an angel?

  4. I really enjoy the daily tradition of seeing pictures of Joan.

  5. See the photos of the Wang Theater marquee reminded me of when my mother treated me to seeing a modern dance performance there back in the late 1980’s. I went because the music was done by Prince and I naively thought he’d be part of the performance. He wasn’t. But I’ll never forget how opulent the theater was – simply amazing. Happy holidays and New Year.

  6. love laughing with my family when things don’t go as planned
