Happy National Ampersand Day & I’m glad you’re here to celebrate it with me!
I’ve been working on my new song “I Don’t Want to be Late (& I Don’t Want to Be Early Either)” & my old song “Spoiler Alert.”
I’ve been wearing my new night guard & my jaw keeps clicking away. I’ve been staying off my foot & that doesn’t seem to help.
I have very few photos to share with you today & here they are:

Michael is working on stripping the peeling paint off the tin ceiling & he’s doing a good job & seems to be staying sane.
Here’s the question I asked last night on Twitter & some answers:

I’ve never named a computer & Lydia is a great name for a computer.
Here’s the list of Daily Holidays that includes National Ampersand Day & some others.

Pardon me on Pardon Day for almost not including the Daily Bitch today & here she is:

I don’t drink & neither does my husband Michael & lots of other people do.
When I search for National Ampersand Day I find this

I hope you leave a comment & thanks for reading this post!

My first brand new car, a 1975 VW Rabbit (Golf) was Otto. LOL! Pun intended. All cars after had to settle for their manufacturers’ model designations.
I like this comment & I named my cars, too.
I see that Joan is proposing some music for the new song.
It’s tough to write the words & music & I appreciate Joan’s help.
Ampersands are what make many tweets possible. 🙂
This is true & thanks for sharing.
A friend of mine named her car “Fritz” because it was always on the…
I’m writing this on my iPad which I’ve named Dorothy Parker. An editor once found her in a bar and asked why she wasn’t at work. She said, “Someone was using the pencil” so she couldn’t write Daily Bitch entries.
& who named the ampersand? It’s an abbreviation whose name is longer than the word it replaces.
I love this comment & Dorothy Parker & you.
I am so impressed with Michael’s work & his persistence. That looks like a tough job. With the height and angle being so tricky, I am glad to hear that he doesn’t drink. I don’t, either.
We don’t drink & Michael is minimizing the time he spends on the ladder & I’m impressed with you!
And here’s to you, Ann.
& back at you, my friend.
Sylvia, my silver subaru, she is very reliable with a little bit of flash, no matter the situation
Sylvia & you are awesome!
Good job, Michael! A lot of work, indeed. The only thing I can readily think of to answer your question is I call the “voice” used on my car’s navigation system, Tilly! No particularly reason, but I say things like, “Thank you, Tilly.” or “Tilly, you’re so helpful.” LOL!
Love it & you!
this was a great post Ann! I smiled while reading it!
And I’m smiling now, Carol Anne!
