Day 3710: People pleasing

Many people in my Coping and Healing groups aspire to do less people pleasing. I find it pleasing to encourage people to balance their needs with other people’s needs.

Let’s see what the Daily Bitch pleases to say about people pleasing.

.

Do you see people pleasing in my other images for today?

.

I didn’t know which list would be more pleasing to people, so it was a no brainer for me to share both.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “people pleasing.”

.

It pleases me to present a video about people pleasing by The Crappy Childhood Fairy on the same day that I’m sharing my Twitter question about favorite fairy tales. If it pleases other people, that’s a bonus.

Thanks to all the pleasing people who helped me write this “people pleasing” post, including YOU!

  1. I’m pleased to see Aaron and Michael happy to be be sharing what appears to be a celebration cake, Ann! Happy wishes from here to there.

  2. do what is pleasing to the “Higher Spirit”, i.e., there is the light that comes into the world, from being like the Heavenly Father, and blessings flow, just check your motives first, amen.

  3. It’s a real pleasure to see Michael and Aaron. Also I don’t know if it qualifies as a fairy tale but Frank Stockton, who also wrote “The Lady Or The Tiger?” wrote a wonderful story called “The Griffin And The Minor Canon”. It’s about lots of people desperate to please a monster.

  4. nice seeing Michael and Aaron together and looks like they’re both quite pleased with themselves and each other -)

I’m a day late reading this one. I’m very amused by the giveaway of expired sanitizer and soap. “Here, take as much as you want of this stuff that might not work.”

  6. Such a great capture of Michael and Aaron having fun. Their celebration cake looks delicious. I think they look very pleased with themselves, and that’s the best way to approach “people pleasing.” Good for them!

    • You are one of those people, Debra, that pleases with your empathy and goodness. Thanks for another great comment.
