Day 3384: At least you know it’s working

Whenever I’ve gotten a COVID vaccine, I’ve felt ill the next day — fevers, aches, brain fog, etc. — and every time, somebody has said, “At least you know it’s working. “

At least this time I deliberately got the shot on a Friday, so I wouldn’t be working the next day.

I felt too ill yesterday to do much more than read, watch TV, listen to music, sleep, and have lots of anxiety dreams about working, so I don’t have many images to share today.

I’m working to celebrate National Haiku Poetry day with this:

A COVID vaccine

“At least you know it’s working”

I know what they mean.

.

At least you know I’m going to include some song about working in this post.

At least you know it’s working for me to express gratitude daily for everyone I appreciate, including YOU!

  1. I’ve now gratefully accepted the very sore arm four times and repeated that mantra, It’s Working, Ann. Feeling low for a day is OK with me for the vaccination’s benefits, you betcha.

  2. I hope you feel better today

  3. I am sorry that it affects you like this

  4. Saturday Night Fever may be appropriate. Hope you are soon back to your normal cool character!

  5. Glad that you’re protected, Ann, and hope that you feel back to your ole self very soon.💕

  6. Some things aren’t easy. What Dow your cats have to say about this? And what is Michael cooking up?
    Life is always moving through!
May tomorrow bring what a new day brings for you 💖

  7. 4 times for me 2 = good because I worry 100 times less. (vax math)

  8. Hope you feel better soon.
    I had NO side effects.
Actually wondered if they had given me an injection.
Not sure I want a booster.

  9. You really do get a reaction, Ann. I’m sorry! But aren’t we glad for these vaccines. Now you really are covered. ❤
